Our client known as the workplace as he was convinced his soon to be ex wife was cohabiting. They had been within the throes of divorce and she still lived in the martial home. One of his old neighbours had named him to ask if they had moved because there was a diverse man at the home most of the time.
Our client talked us through the scenario and we decided the most effective thing would be to put a CCTV camera in a car outside the marital home and record 24 hours every day for 7 days. This is what we did. When the footage came back it showed that a man was living there for the whole week. He had a key to let himself in and one morning appeared to have post delivered to him which he opened at the door.
Our client wanted to know who this man was due to the fact he did not recognise him. We decided to follow him to work to see if we could find any clues as to who he was. Thankfully for us he was a dental surgeon and so he could only be one of the surgeons on that day. Our operative went into the surgery and asked if he could make an appointment. When the receptionist asked which dentist he saw our operative said “the man that has just come in”. The receptionist told our operative the name and we then carried out a background check on him.
Our client was delighted due to the fact he could now go for adultery and name the adulterer in his divorce. The dentist was also married and our client informed his wife that he was cohabiting. She is also going for adultery in their divorce.
